Rajouri,DD: In the remote village of Sulidhara, Rajouri, the Mendhar Brigade of the Ace of Spades Division conducted a compassionate Winter Illness and Fire Hazard Awareness Camp, reaching out to the local community with essential guidance and support for the challenging winter season.
The camp focused on educating villagers about staying safe from common winter illnesses such as flu, cold and pneumonia, while also offering practical tips on winter hygiene to help prevent health issues.
In addition, essential medicines were distributed to ensure that every family felt supported and cared for during the harsh winter months.
A key highlight of the event was the awareness session on fire hazards and the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning from traditional heating methods used in closed spaces. This vital information aims to protect lives by reducing winter-related accidents.
The villagers’ heartfelt response reflected deep trust and gratitude, further strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the local community.
