Indian Army donates Computer Lab to Little Angel School, Bhaderwah Campus

Bhaderwah, DD: In a heartwarming gesture of civil-military cooperation, the 4 Rashtriya Rifles (4RR) of the Indian Army donated a state-of-the-art Computer Lab to Little Angel School, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu.

The lab has been generously established under the aegis of 4RR to enhance digital literacy among students and support educational infrastructure in the region.

Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. Rahul Gupta, in his message, congratulated the staff of Little Angel School and extended heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for their generous support.

He stated, “This initiative reflects the spirit of collaboration and nation-building. The establishment of this computer lab is not merely an infrastructure upgrade, but a meaningful investment in the future of our children.

Bhaderwah Campus remains committed to holistic development and community engagement, and such partnerships strengthen our resolve.”

Colonel Yogesh Chouhan, Commanding Officer 4RR, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the facility. Speaking on the occasion, Colonel Chouhan highlighted the strong and enduring bond between the Indian Army and the University of Jammu, particularly Bhaderwah Campus.

He lauded the commitment and tireless efforts of the staff and management of Little Angel School, with specialization appreciation for the visionary leadership of the Rector, Bhaderwah Campus.

He emphasized that such initiatives are instrumental in bridging developmental gaps and nurturing future generations through education and technology.

External Relations Officer Bhaderwah Campus, Arif Haleem Khateeb, presented the formal welcome address and acknowledged the Indian Army’s consistent support in uplifting education and empowering the youth of the region.

He also expressed deep gratitude to 4RR for their continued collaboration with Bhaderwah Campus in various community development projects.

A vibrant cultural programme by the students of Little Angel School followed the inauguration, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region and receiving widespread appreciation from the audience.

Principal Little Angel School, Aamira Bano, delivered the formal vote of thanks expressing heartfelt thanks to 4RR especially Commanding Officer for their invaluable contribution.

She reiterated the school’s commitment to providing holistic education to its students and creating a conducive learning environment.

Also present on the occasion were Mujeeb Sheikh, Assistant Registrar, Bhaderwah Campus; Bubloo Sharma, Campus Programmer; teaching faculty from various departments; and enthusiastic students from both Bhaderwah Campus and Little Angel School.

The event served as a powerful testament to the positive impact of army-civilian collaborations and the shared goal of nation-building through education.DD
