Indian Army Organises Children’s Day Celebrations at GHS in Akhnoor

Akhnoor:DD, A Quiz and Drawing Competition was organized here at Government High School, Sunail, centred on the theme “Nurturing Young Minds,” on the occasion of Children’s Day, the Crossed Swords Division, under the aegis of the White Knight Corps.
The celebration aimed to inspire creativity, curiosity and intellectual development among students.

A total of 200 students and 23 teachers took part with great enthusiasm, making the event lively and engaging.

The children showcased their talent, confidence and innovative thinking through colourful drawings and interactive quiz rounds.
The Indian Army’s continued efforts to reach out to the local population reflect its commitment to fostering a secure, educated and empowered environment for the youth.
The events like these not only encourage academic and creative excellence but also instil values of discipline, teamwork and national pride among young learners.


The teachers and staff appreciated the Indian Army’s initiative for creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere for students on this special day.
The Indian Army also distributed certificates and mementos to the winners, acknowledging their hard work and participation.
The event concluded with motivating words from the Indian Army representative, who urged students to dream big, stay focused and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth and development.
