Katra, (TDD) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay obeisance at the revered shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi and also address a mega rally in Katra on September 19.

Union Minister and Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Election In-charge Kishan Reddy Gangapuram took a review meeting to discuss arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming “Vijay Sankalp Maharally” in Katra. The meeting was attended by key BJP figures including Sat Sharma CA, working president of BJP Jammu and Kashmir and former minister, Ashish Sood, BJP co-in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir, and Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament.

The primary focus of Prime Minister Modi’s visit is to campaign for BJP candidate Baldev Sharma. This rally is part of a series of campaign events planned across Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the BJP’s push in the region ahead of the assembly elections.

According to the released schedule, Prime Minister Modi will address gatherings in Srinagar and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on September 19th. He is then set to speak at rallies in Jammu and Kathua districts on September 26th.

The review meeting likely covered various aspects of the rally preparations, including security measures, logistical arrangements, and mobilization of party supporters. The choice of Katra, home to the revered Vaishno Devi shrine, as a rally venue adds a spiritual dimension to the political event.

These rallies are seen as crucial for the BJP’s election strategy in Jammu and Kashmir. By personally campaigning for Baldev Sharma, Prime Minister Modi is expected to boost the candidate’s profile and energize the party’s base in the region.

The series of rallies across different districts indicates the BJP’s comprehensive approach to the upcoming Assembly elections, aiming to strengthen its position across various parts of the Union Territory. As the election season heats up, these high-profile visits by the Prime Minister are likely to play a significant role in shaping the political narrative in Jammu and Kashmir.(TDD)
