Jammu :TDD,Major General Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva with almost four decades of distinguished service superannuated today and relinquished the appointment of ADG NCC Directorate JK&L. In an illustrious span of 37 and a half years, the General Officer has qualified prestigious courses and held appointments across the operational and administrative spectrum. The General Officer during his tenure as ADG propelled NCC Units to higher achievements and glory. A record number of training activities and projects were undertaken which witnessed a renewed vigour and participation amongst the cadets. The NCC Directorate reached glorious heights during his tenure. A record number of cadets joined defence and belt forces. Governors of Ladakh and J&K bestowed Unit Citations to NCC. For the first time more that 25000 cadets were introduced with AI and Cyber. The General Officer was accorded a ceremonial farewell at the NCC Directorate located on Canal Road. Maj General Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva exhorted all personnel to continue the good work in enabling and empowering the youth of the country.TDD
