Mother of IAS Amit Sharma Passes Away at 87

Jammu: Mother of IAS officer Amit Sharma, Santosh Sharma, aged 87, passed away after a brief period of illness over the last few days. She had been a long-time survivor, battling liver and heart-related ailments.
IAS Amit Sharma described her as a true source of inspiration from his childhood to the present day, crediting her with laying the strong foundation of his success through education, values, and social life.
Various sections of society expressed their deep condolences over this colossal loss and prayed for the peace of her departed soul, while also wishing strength to Amit Sharma and his family to overcome this difficult time.DD
