REASI:TDD, Three persons including a woman, and her minor son were killed in a tragic road mishap in Chassana in Reasi District, during early morning.
Police told The Diplomat that a vehicle was on its way from Malikote to Chassana when its driver lost control over it near Chamelo Morh.
As a result, the police said, the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge, killing both – a male passenger, a woman, and her minor child.
The police and locals evacuated the victims and shifted them to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The deceased have been identified as Sandhoor Singh (23), Sukh Dev Singh, Kulcha Devi (27), wife of Shankar Singh, and a minor child namely Neeraj Singh (1.5 years old), son of Shanker Singh, all residents of Sisal, Malikote in Chassana, Reasi District.
Meanwhile, three others sustained injuries in the same road accident. Their condition was stated to be stable. The injured have been identified as Shanker Singh (32), son of Janak Singh, Ajay Singh (18), son of Sukhdev Singh, and Dhunkar Singh (19), son of Janak Singh, all residents of village Sisal Malikote in Chassana in Reasi District.
The police have registered a case in this regard at the Chassana Police Station and started investigation in the road accident.TDD
