Pakistan Army opens unprovoked small arm fire across LoC in Tutmari Gali, Rampur sectors

Srinagar,DD: Pakistan Army has violated ceasefire on the Line of Control in Tutmari Gali and Rampur Sectors.
“The unprovoked fire was opened by the Pakistani Army using small arms across the LoC in the areas opposite Tutmari Gali and Rampur Sectors,” defence spokesperson said.
In response to the unprovoked firing, he informed that the Indian Army also responded with equal force, silencing the guns of the enemy.
Importantly, the borders with Pakistan have been kept on alert following the terror attack in Pahalgam in which innocent people were killed.
Following the incident, the security forces have intensified their anti-terror operations, and detained a number of suspected persons for their questioning/terror related links.
Accordingly, the security grid has been tightened across Jammu and Kashmir to avert any kind of terror activities.DD
