Pavneet Kour Urges Women to Lead the Fight Against Drugs in Jammu South

The Diplomat Desk

Jammu,TDD,– In a passionate address at a public meeting in Haqal, Ward No. 4, Pavneet Kour, the Apni Party candidate for Jammu South, made a compelling call to the women of the constituency to stand up and secure the future of their children by voting for her on October 1st.

Kour emphasized the growing drug menace as the primary threat to the youth and vowed to eliminate drugs as one of her top priorities, if she is elected as MLA.

She also stressed that the future of Jammu South’s children depends on a collective effort to remove the scourge of drugs from their streets.

Kour shared her comprehensive plan to tackle the drug crisis, which includes collaborating with law enforcement to arrest drug suppliers, establishing rehabilitation centers for those affected, and offering youth alternative opportunities through sports, education, and community programs.

She also promised to push for stronger laws and policies to curb drug trafficking and ensure that the streets of Jammu South are safe for its young generation. “Our youth deserve a chance to grow in a safe, drug-free environment,” Kour said.

In her speech, Kour made a direct appeal to the women of Jammu South, urging them to take the lead in this battle. She highlighted the critical role women play as pillars of families and society, reminding them that their vote can be the catalyst for lasting change.

“On October 1st, I ask every woman in Jammu South to cast their vote for the ‘bat’ symbol, not just for me, but for the future of your families and community,” she stated. Kour explained that her election symbol, the ‘bat,’ symbolizes strength, determination, and action—qualities needed to defeat the drug menace.

In addition to her focus on combating drugs, Kour laid out a broader vision for the development of Jammu South, with a special emphasis on youth engagement and women’s empowerment. She promised to establish sports academies, technical training centers, and mentorship programs to provide the youth with productive avenues for growth.

Kour also vowed to fight for women’s rights, better healthcare, education services, and the overall safety of women in the constituency. She concluded by calling on all voters to unite and support her campaign for a brighter, drug-free Jammu South.TDD
