Seminar on constitutional principles and democracy held in Kargil

Kargil, DD: Ladakh Academy of Art Culture and Language (LAACL) Kargil today organized one-day Seminar/Mushaira/Afsana on constitutional principles and democracy at Cultural Academy Hall Kargil in which poets presented their verses in multiple languages.

The theme of the Seminar was constitutional principles and democracy (“Aaen-e-usool aur Jamhuriyat”). The poets recited verses on democracy and constitutional values.

Padma Shree Awardee, Akhone Asgar Ali Basharat attended the event as a chief guest. State Awardee Gh. Ahmed Khan Jawan, Aga Syed Hadi Shah (senior writer), Haji Mohd Ibrahim, poets of various languages and others who attended the event.

In Charge S.O LAACL, Kargil, Zakir Hussain Khan presented welcome speech.

Poets from various languages beautifully reflected the strength and beauty of the Constitution in their verses. Their poetry highlighted the supremacy of constitutional principles and the essence of democracy. The event emphasizing the core values of justice, equality, and freedom.

Attendees appreciated the poetic expressions that reinforced the significance of democratic ideals, making the event a tribute to India’s constitutional ethos.

On the occasion, famous writer, Sadiq Hardassi presented a paper presentation on Constitutional Principles in Democracy while Mohd Abaas Zameer recited an Afsana on the theme.

The program was moderated by Sajad Ali Shujaat. In the end of the Mushaira, incharge S.O LAACL, Kargil, Zakir Hussain Khan presented the vote of thanks.DD
