Mendhar/Poonch: Ramkund Gunners, under the aegis of Ace of Spade Gunners, appreciated Support Our Heroes (SOH), a Delhi-based social organisation, for its continued support to Army veterans and affected civilians.
On the occasion of the 10th Veterans Day, SOH provided an E-rickshaw on January 11 to a veteran to help him earn a livelihood, and extended ₹91,000 as financial assistance to another veteran for repairing his flood-damaged house in Jammu and Kashmir.
Additionally, marking Poonch Link-Up Day 2025, SOH distributed ₹4.70 lakh in financial aid, honouring 13 civilians with ₹10,000 each and supporting four veterans affected by Operation SINDOOR and cross-border shelling in the Poonch sector.
Established in 2017, SOH continues to work for the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families, especially in cases beyond existing welfare mechanisms.DD
