JAMMU: TDD,Police today claimed to have arrested three persons with sharp edged weapons in R. S. Pura.
Police said that a police team of RS Pura Police Station led by SHO PS Pura along with ASI Jang Bahadur Singh and other officials, during naka checking, established naka at Purana Pind Chowk, RS Pura.
During the checking of vehicles, the police noticed one triple riding motorcycle bearing registration number JK02-DG-9812 which was coming from Satrayian towards RS Pura.
The motorcycle was stopped and during the search of the said persons two persons. The police recovered a sharp-edged weapon i.e. tokas were recovered from their possession which they were carrying with common criminal intention.
The preliminary questioning they disclosed their name as Manoj Kumar, son of Lakhwinder Kumar, resident of Purana Pind, Nishant Kumar, son of Kartar Chand, resident of Sidhrey and Roshan Kumar, son of Shankar Dass, resident of Sidhrey.
In this regard, case FIR No. 212/2024 under section 3(5) BNS, 4/25 Arms Act stands registered with this police station.TDD
