Diplomat Correspondent
Rajouri:DD, Valley View Army Public School (VVAPS) Rajouri made this year’s Children’s Day a special occasion by organizing a picnic to the historic Dhanidhar Fort.
Aimed at blending fun with education, the event provided students with an opportunity to explore Rajouri’s rich cultural heritage in an interactive and engaging manner.
A total of 221 students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the fort, which stands as a significant landmark of Rajouri’s architectural history.
The students had the chance to walk through the ancient structure, learning about its strategic importance and the historical tales associated with it.
The day was filled with games, storytelling sessions and guided interactions that kept the children entertained while also educating them about the fort’s heritage.

The event was a unique blend of leisure and learning, set against the picturesque backdrop of the fort.
This initiative reflects VVAPS’s commitment to fostering holistic development by providing students with enriching experiences outside the traditional classroom setting.
It is a step forward in creating well-rounded individuals with a deep appreciation for their heritage.DD
