Mendhar: DD, A woman has reportedly lost her life in Pakistan Army’s shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar, Poonch district.
As per the reports, the woman namely Rashida Bi, wife of Munshi Khan from Keri Kangra village of Mendhar was at her residence when a shell fired by Pakistan exploded at her residence, killing her on the spot.
Meanwhile, the reports claim damage to the private property at various places because of the cross LoC firing by the Pakistan Army that targeted the civilian areas.
The Pakistani Army fired artillery gun fire and shells towards the Mendhar villages, causing damages to the civilian property.
The people in LoC villages are worried and many of them have sent their family members out of their respective areas to safer places.
A report said that the family members of a journalist from Nowshera (Rajouri) have also sustained injuries in the cross border shelling.
