Poonch, DD: World Health Day was observed with great enthusiasm today at the Government ANMT School Poonch under the global theme “Healthy Beginning, Hopeful Future.” The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and health officials.
Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle from an early age and elaborated on the significance of preventive healthcare. Dr. Khan also highlighted various government initiatives aimed at improving public health and urged students to act as ambassadors of health awareness in their communities.
Prominent faculty members of ANMT School, including Mr Rohit Sharma ,Mrs. Gulfam Akther, Ms. Humma Bukhari, and Ms. Anita Rajan, also spoke on the occasion, encouraging students to adopt healthy habits and stay informed about modern health practices.
Students of the institution also delivered speeches, sharing their insights on health and well-being. A painting competition was also organized, focusing on the importance of World Health Day, where students creatively expressed the theme through colors and messages.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing team and the enthusiastic participation of the attendees.DD
